Robyn McLean and Mary Bond are life-long friends who don’t spend their days baking wholesome food or cleaning their houses. But while they might not be domestic goddesses, they do think we could all do a bit more to look after this cool planet we call home.

Unfortunately,more than 7 billion tampons, pads and panty liners end up in landfills around the world each year. After discovering cups in relatively recent times, they were amazed at how easy they were to use and how many benefits they offered.

Mary, a registered nurse, and Robyn, a journalist, have researched and interviewed numerous medical professionals and product designers to create the Hello Cup. Proudly designed and made in New Zealand using top-of-the-line medical-grade TPE plastic from Germany, the Hello Cup contains no nasty chemicals and is recyclable at the end of its life. It is free of silicone and latex – making it the perfect choice for women who have sensitivities.
